Dear Parents and Guardians,
I have been trying to keep up with all emails and phone calls, which have come my way, since the September 16, 2020 communication was sent out. I will continue to respond to anyone who reaches out.
As of this writing, I want to let you know of things, which are being worked on:
- Final hiring of the faculty
- Shipment of instructional materials to the depot sites
- Deployment of the devices
- Sending of instructional packets to students enrolled in the STADLP
- Working on a schedule to make up the lost instructional time
Questions have been raised regarding tuition. Tuition collection in Catholic Academies and Parish Schools is often collected over 8 to 10 months. Many of your home Catholic Academies and Parish Schools started collecting tuition in August 2020. Catholic Academies and Parish Schools budget for the entire school year and count on the payment of full tuition.
While we did delay the start of the St. Thomas Aquinas Distance Learning Program, we are committed to catching up with the instructional program for your child(ren) and will provide a full year of education for your students.
At this time, we ask that you please remain current with your tuition obligations to your Catholic Academy/Parish School.
We will continue to have further discussions with the administration of the Catholic Academies/Parish Schools regarding tuition payments.
I appreciate your understanding and continued patience.
Thomas Chadzutko, Ed.D.
